The Most Liberal Government in U.S. History

I want to congratulate the Democrats for their biggest night in politics since LBJ was elected in 1964. Tonight the America public elected the most liberal government in the history of the United States of America. Let me inform you of the facts. First, President-elect Barack Obama is the least experienced and most liberal candidate to be elected to the highest office in the land. As conservatives we know how he will govern. Those who elected him will soon discover their mistake within two years or sooner.

At his disposal he will have a majority in both houses of Congress with two radical leaders; Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, a radical liberal from California’s 8th district. How fast will they impose their liberal agenda upon the American people? Only time will tell. I am sure they have created their laundry list already, which in my opinion includes:

1.     A national health care package that will cost the American people and their posterity billions of dollars. Yes, a tax hike.

2.     A radical social agenda extending rights to homosexual couples, which will redefine the historical and traditional definition of marriage.

3.     They will revive the hideous practice of partial birth abortion.

4.     He will appoint radical judges to the Supreme and District Courts of our nation.

5.     A foreign policy of appeasement, and a pro-Palestinian posture.

6.     The imposition of the Fairness doctrine that will limit and curtail conservative free speech on the radio.

7.     Severely limit gun rights.

Tonight, November 4th 2008, America voted for Socialism, which will extend the power of government over the lives of a free society, and limit the freedoms that Americans have cherished for 230 years. Our only hope is to stand strong, pray and hope that in the year 2010 we have a revolution equal to the mid-term elections of 1994.

Plumber Unplugs Obama's True Intentions

Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama made a revealing remark concerning his economic strategy. It seems that Obama wants to “spread the wealth.” In other words he wants to take money from hard working Americans who have achieved the American dream, and give it to lazy Americans. There is nothing patriotic about the redistribution of wealth.

The irony is that it took an ordinary guy who happens to be a plumber to unplug Obama’s hidden agenda by asking him a simple question. A better metaphor couldn't have been written. Think about it. What does a plumber do? He or she unclogs stuffed up toilets. What the liberal media was unwilling to do, a plumber did by asking one simple question, and out poured the sewage of socialism from Obama’s mouth. “Spread the wealth” is liberal rhetoric that pits one American over another, and with the angst over the economy this type of talk stirs up deep sentiments among Americans who are feeling the pinch.

The American dream is to dream big, work hard and one day own and grow (or grow then own) a prosperous business so one can have the means to live comfortably, provide for a child's college education, invest, save for retirement, and even donate money to one's favorite charity. If Obama is elected he will choose for all Americans whom that charitable organization will be – governmental entitlement programs. This “center-right” country cannot afford a domestic policy of socialism. We must stand up against the threat on November 4th and vote for the "center-right" ticket of McCain-Palin.

What Happened to MLK"s Dream?

This election cycle is becoming more and more volatile as we approach Election Day. Rightly so, there’s a lot a stake. The candidate who wins will guide this nation with his political philosophy through an economic crisis, fight the continuing threat of international terrorism, and decide the key social issues that threaten the survival of the traditional and religious values of the majority. Whose course of action will the American people choose on November 4th? My apprehension this election cycle is that there seems to be no consensus among the value voter. It is as if deception has taken hold of them. For this reason we need to ask ourselves a critical question, who has the character to strengthen this nation rather than weaken it?

Have you noticed that all the sudden character doesn’t matter anymore in this year’s run for the most powerful and prestigious political office in the world? Character has been shrouded by the economy. It reminds me of the 1992 election where the Democrats made a big deal about the economy rather than Bill Clinton’s character. What did it bring us? Among other things, the most notable is the Monica Lewinski scandal. So Americans bit into the slogan “It’s the economy stupid!” rather than assessing Clinton’s character. They became “pocketbook” voters rather than “integrity” voters. We were more concerned about our wellbeing rather than the moral obligation to our nation. As a result our nation suffered reproach from many critics abroad and within because of his uncontrollable fantasies and urges.

With so much at stake in this election I had to find solace somewhere. All of the sudden I remembered a speech given by the American icon Dr. Martin Luther King. I thought to myself, which side of the political aisle would he support, if any? Would he stand for the value voter or submit to the politically correct philosophy of Affirmative Action? Would he give Obama a token endorsement because he’s black or would he examine his character? One thing is for certain, this great American hero is not here to tell us what he would do, but we can read his speeches and writings to mine for his insights, wisdom and counsel. I didn’t have to look in too many places to find my answer. I discovered his life’s philosophy in his famous “I Have a Dream” speech, where he states:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

If Dr. King held this position then, I am sure it would stand today. In the light of his writings, would someone’s color be the defining characteristic that would get his endorsement? If I am a good judge of character I am confident that Dr. King would invoke a litmus test to determine the content of a person’s character before deciding.

Biblical literature alerts the reader that “bad company corrupts good character”, but just how much of Obama’s character has been tarnished by his associations? The recent allegations of Obama’s past associations raise serious doubts about his character. You should not allow the trimmings of a well-manicured package to deceive you. In Obama’s list of mentors we find; William Ayers (Member of the terrorist group the Weather Underground who bombed the Pentagon), Rev. Jeremiah Wright (a radical “Black liberation theology” preacher), Saul Alinsky (Radical liberal who wrote the book Rules for Radicals), Tony Rezko (Convicted of 16 counts of mail and wire fraud), etc. The liberal media has made a point not to contest his past associations. Why? Are they afraid of what an informed electorate will do?

Many sympathetic Obama-maniacs would cry foul at this point but reasonable and conscionable people would take a second look and perhaps reconsider their vote. The liberal media and others are hoping that Obama’s real character does not leak out to the vacillating electorate. It’s still possible that character rather than charisma can triumph in this election if reasonable people discover Obama’s true “colors”. I hope so. You see I have a dream for my children too.
